After chatting at a number of different sites foolmoon makes a refreshing change. Foolmoon has definately achieved it's goal of a family safe chat site with lots of things for everyone. I won't be looking for any other sites to chat at. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

I have been going to FoolMoon for at least 3 years and have found it to be friendly, caring and helpful. I have met some of the users in real life and they are just the same as online. They also hold annual 'meets' in different countries, one I attended and it was just great! I have never found another site quite like it.

I really enjoy foolmoon because it is for all ages. It gives kids and adults a chance to chat together and they get along pretty well. I also like the fact that it's monitored so well because of the kids. I also like the fact that it has scheduled games and chat topics so that people can participate in more than just regular chat. I've noticed that people who chat there regularly are very involved and many have become friends outside of the chatrooms. People really seem to get to know one another at fm.

Foolmoon is the only place I chat online now, there's always a friendly, lively and varied crowd there when I visit and there are many scheduled games and chats to participate in. It took me a long time to find somewhere to chat with adults without being continually harrassed for ADULT chat:) They have chat hosts who always seem to be online who were really helpfull and welcoming when I first visited - they made me want to go back and even thought to remind me to bookmark the site! As well as the chatrooms, FoolMoons bulletin board is a lot of fun as well as providing a means of more serious discussions. The free personal websites are great and has one of the easiest online site builders I've come across.

I like foolmoon because it is a family oriented site that promotes many topics from games to intense political chats and others. if you look at all the schedules (in all rooms) I am sure you will find something to your liking. I like the political chats and can't wait for some of our politicians to drop by,lol. The games relieve the political tensions so it's self healing,lol.

If you like "grownup" talk as opposed to "adult" talk this is the place for you. The occasional pubescent "a/s/l" floats across the screen, but mostly this place is inhabited by intelligent, witty adults who wouldn't make your granny blush with their language. It's one of my regular stops now, I know I can count on meeting people who can use multi-syllabic words and usually spell them correctly as well! Okay, I'm an English teacher, so to me spelling is important. But it's so nice to find a chat that isn't full of halfwits! Fool Moon "It's the best chatroom that I've been to."

I like Foolmoon because I live in "Liberal Lakes,Minnesota" and yet I'm a "Garage Logician". I rarely get to meet people in person, that are as intellegent, yet funny, as they are in Foolmoon. But, I have been lucky enough to meet folks I have found in Foolmoon. So, there's hope for me after all. Against popular belief of the internet, Foolmoon can actually increase your social life. I'd been completely put off online chat rooms by the constant stream of abusive language and sexual solicitations in whichever yahoo chat room I visited - why would anyone assume I visited a Technical Chat room looking for cyber! A good friend recommended Foolmoon to me and I was immediately struck by real benefits of a moderated chat site. The daily Trivia games are a lot of fun and no one takes themselves too seriously. With free email and free personal web-sites on offer, Foolmoon is a must for those who want a nice place to hang out online.

Fool Moon caters to all age groups, from young teens to "seniors." Everyone is made to feel welcome and "newbies" to the internet and chat rooms can get helpful advice and hints on chat room etiquette as well as gerneral information about the web.

UNFORTUNATELY
Those rascals at CNET have removed their Chat   Room Ratings page and are no longer in the "ratings" business. (poo-poo) So, I'm afraid you'll just have to be satisfied with what folks said about us BEFORE the ratings service was discontinued.
